We carry three things properly rather than everything badly: bookcases and shelving units, console and entryway tables, and low storage built for children’s rooms. If you are looking for sofas, mattresses or dining sets, we are not the shop for that, and we would rather say so here than waste your afternoon.

Brooklyn apartments are full of alcoves that are not quite standard. So every product page gives the assembled width, depth and height, the clear space between shelves, and the weight each shelf is rated to hold. A 5-tier unit that is 63 inches tall does not fit under an 8-foot ceiling with a radiator beneath it, and you should be able to work that out before you order rather than after.

Everything ships flat-packed by courier. Assembly hardware and instructions are in the carton. Shipping costs, timings and the returns window are set out in full on the Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy pages — we have not repeated the figures here, because two copies of the same promise is how they end up disagreeing.
